Despite what the Government, Meat and Livestock Australia and LiveCorp (as well as many other people involved in this insidious, cruel trade) would have us believe, Australian animals are still suffering horrendously at the hands of the Live Export industry. The so-called “supply chain assurances” are failing to protect our cattle in Indonesia, and millions of sheep are still being sent to the Middle East where they, too, face slaughter without stunning.
The time has come for us to rally once again in Sydney, and protest against this most insidious industry. Let’s send a strong message to the Government that we will not tolerate animal cruelty, and we will not be silenced until all live animal exports are banned.
Join us on Sunday 15th April at 1.00pm, on the steps of Town Hall.
Speakers include: David Shoebridge (Greens), Adele Lloyd (Sentient), Luke Sullivan (Animal Rights Coaltion) Emma Hurst and Phillip Hall (both of Animal Liberation).
Bring your family and friends, banners and placards, your voice and your passion, and let’s make this rally HUGE.
